I love this verse, because even in the NIV it insinuates that God had to “take a break” on the seventh day to get “refreshed”. If that isn’t proof that there are a mix of “gods” (God and the Demiurge) in the OT, I don’t know what is.

Or it could be a straight up contradiction. :)

Jesus saw infants being suckled. He said to His disciples,
"These infants being suckled are like those who enter the

     They said to Him, "Shall we then, as children, enter the
Kingdom?"
     Jesus said to them, "When you make the two one, and when you
make the inside like the outside and the outside like the inside,

and a hand in place of a hand, and a foot in place of a foot, and
a likeness in place of a likeness; then will you enter [the
Kingdom]."

This is from The Gospel of Thomas, Logion 22. I was meditating on the Tree of Life as it has to do with consciousness

and What I realized, was, this verse that came to mind.  You can almost hear the Hermeticism in this verse (Especially the Above as below).

But what do these all have in common? Duality. There must not be duality inside of us or outside of us.

We can achieve this Kabalistically many ways, I'm sure, but I thought of the Pillars of Mercy and Severity. One

side is male, active, positive, etc, and the other female, passive, negative, etc. (Positive and Negative in the since of Polarity, btw)

We see that each of these polarities find an equilibrium (find balance) and make for more stable "material" as you go down the planes.

For us, it means, we must look at the tree, work with it, and find out how to rid ourselves of duality.  Yes, there are Ten Sephiroth, but they are from One Source.  If you are too severe, you need to balance with mercy, let the inside of you reflect the outside with duality.

This is what we must do. :)

So check this out. In the Apocryphon of John, Yeshua says that he inspired the serpent for us to eat the fruit. Through Sophia I believe. I was thinking about something. Here is how the world isn’t so black and white. The Monad, whom you may call what you will for the Monad is above gender, good/evil, limitations. The Monad emanated Barbelo, who in turn there was a bunch of emanations that led to Mother Sophia (Wisdom). Sophia did not meet with her consort before creating, and created Yaldaboath, or Samael (Ignorant or blind god), who was foolish. From Wisdom came the foolishness. It was when wisdom was at a “low point” that this happened. Whether or not this is “literal”. There is much to be learned here for those seeking balance. Wisdom (Sophia), lowered, produced folly. Folly produced the Material universe. This is the god of the Jews, Christians, and Muslims (the one who demands total obedience with the threat of death). The true YHVH (which is more of a secret code than a name) sent the “Christ” or “buddha energy” to rescue Sophia and Wisdom was placed back to her splendor. So out of degraded wisdom comes foolishness, but wisdom restored brings Gnosis. Or knowledge. Light is Dark, Dark is light in this world. There aren’t black and white. We are enemies to the Demiurge. How is it that the process started here for us (as above so below right?). The Christ Consciousness that inspired Lucifer to break us out of a fool’s paradise. Remember, Genesis three, Lucifer tells Eve to “eat of the tree, lest ye become GODS, knowing good or evil”. When we eat the fruit, we start our way back up to wisdom. Lucifer lights our path with the dark flame of gnosis, Satan, keeps us in check, and the Christ consciousness illumines us, and Sophia guides us. We literally create foolishness, but when we practice away from the christian “god”, we climb back up the ladder to where we belong. Not here. Why did the Divine let this happen? Its easy. We had to eat the tree to know good/evil. Knowledge of this causes disturbance. We then learn where we came from, and then manipulate the material universe to make the best of it. As we grow, and incarnate, we become “like gods”. remember, it was David, the Father of the Great Magus Solomon who said, “ye are gods”. You are gods and goddesses. Lucifer, and the host of the true heaven are here to help us out. This is how light is dark and dark is light.

Okay. Here is my beef with “Orthodox” Christianity.  By that I mean, protestant, catholic, orthodox, and even the lil’ fellers that aren’t really connected to anybody.  You see, if you can pick up a scholarly redaction of what the true sayings and doings of Yeshua (Jesus), He didn’t really speak about believing stuff. See there is a fine difference in the Greek and Aramaic languages. Pauline Theology (Paulinism) believed that you are saved by grace through faith (Greek: Pistis). This means believing certain doctrines. Viz. Blood atonement, Jesus being both God and Man, A vengeful God, You must be baptized, you don’t have to be baptized, Trinitarianism, Doceticism, etc.  Pistis or “faith” makes the religion a list of crap you “have to believe” lest you piss the Almighty Who is in NO NEED of our intellectual levels and go to hell for all eternity.  The difference is, if you take the words of Yeshua, from TRUE sources, you see that Yeshua was concerned with Loving God (Who is BEYOND BELIEF) and following HIS Halakah (or way of life, which included love, justice, peace, and tolerance. Not to mention seeking the inner guidance of the Yechidah spark in your soul (or listening to your holy guardian Angel).   We are to build a more just society, a peaceful society, a tolerant society, and follow Yeshua. Yeshua didn’t want worship, He wanted US to worship GOD, and that leaves a LOT open for what that means, because God is Unfathomable.  If you act like you know the Highest God so well, you are deluded. Sorry. Read the Apocryphon of John about chapter 1-2.  Best explanation of God ever. I may repost if for those interested.   It is that simple. I need to see if i can get the book, “the simple words of Yeshua” which is technically a lectionary of scripture readings, but the sayings and doings, have been declared as accurate and are from multiple sources, including the regular Gospels and Thomas and Philip. It paints a different picture of Jesus that is more concerned with you seeking inner light and being a peaceful and just person.  Jesus wouldn’t have used the Pauline word “Pistis” or belief, faith, he would use the word “Amin” or Amen, which means FIDELITY.  He wants fidelity to God’s reign that is already here. Yeshua didn’t start a church. he started a Spiritual Movement of love, peace, justice, mercy, kindness, etc.  And seeking the inner light that is within us, and becoming Christs ourselves. We see that following Jesus is just following an ascended Master.  We follow him not to worship his flesh, but the Christ that is in him (There are other words for Christ too, like buddha consciousness). Its not a matter of what religion is right. Its a matter of Honoring the sovereignty of God, however that looks. And follow the teachings (basic) of Jesus, you will see that the core of many religions teach the same thing. Its SO SIMPLE. You can be certain that Paul messed crap up, esp. when you read James, the Earliest book in the canon, which throws a punch at Paul’s Grace through faith.  Remember, its faithfulness. Not belief.  And the Gospel/Torah/Quran, all reach to the point of human dignity. It there is a verse that belittles God’s creation, it is obviously false.  And if you are a fundamentalist, you see that you must believe x y and z to be saved. So God is gonna judge you on stuff like that? Add the 30,000 denominations and the variables become different. Make it simple, x is Search for Truth, y is find an Ascended Master (I chose Yeshua) and z, follow the Master’s life, as has been revealed and take the truth and leave out the additions. God doesn’t need anything. His ego doesn’t get hurt if you don’t believe He is trinity.  I say all that to say, Just seek inner light/gnosis, follow the ways of justice and peace (which if you look hard enough is already in your heart), stray from the evil inclinations of the heart, be a good person, become an enlightened person. You can be a follower of Yeshua without being a Christian. Christian was a name that was added by the Antiochians.  I say I am a student of the Great Rabbi. I try to follow his moral teachings that are accurate, and do what He would do. What do you think?
